Finance Assistant

Position Title: Finance Assistant Organization: Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA) Location: Washington, D.C. Hours: Full-time, in-office: 8:30 – 5:30 p.m. Eastern. Job Summary RAGA is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Finance Assistant to support its fundraising and finance operations in advancing the election of Republican attorneys general. This role will work closely with the finance team on donor research, outreach, database management, and event coordination. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and interested in political fundraising, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment. This position offers the opportunity to gain hands‑on experience and meaningful exposure to fundraising strategy and operations. Key Responsibilities Conduct research on prospective donors, partners, and relevant stakeholders to support fundraising efforts and expand RAGA’s network. Maintain and update donor databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records. Support donor outreach and relationship management, including drafting and managing email communications. Prepare materials for meetings and briefings, including agendas, background memos, and follow‑up items. Assist in planning and executing fundraising events, including logistics for in‑office and off‑site engagements. Provide day‑to‑day support for finance and fundraising operations. Track and organize information related to donors, events, and ongoing initiatives. Coordinate internally with staff to support fundraising strategy and event preparation. Conduct research on policy issues and political developments relevant to donor engagement. Support administrative functions such as scheduling, correspondence, and general office coordination.
