Thisuniquehybridrolecombines executivemedicalleadershipwithactiveclinicalpractice , allowing you to continue caring for patients while influencing hospital strategy, quality standards, and the growth of a collaborative, high-performing medical team. Basedonthejobdescription,theCMOservesasaclinicallyactiveleaderwhooverseesmedical quality, continuity of care, professional standards, and organizational culture while supporting the financial health and strategic direction of the hospital. WhatYou'llDo Practicemedicine 2–3daysperweek whilemaintaininganactiveclinical caseload Leadthedevelopmentandimplementationofhospital‑widemedicalstandardsand protocols along with the leadership team Mentorandsupportveterinariansthroughcaseconsultation,medicalrecordreview,and constructive feedback Fosterapositive,collaborativeculturefocusedonexcellence,accountability,and professional growth Partnerwithhospitalleadershiponstrategicplanning,operationalefficiency,andservice expansion Supportrecruitment,onboarding,andretentionofveterinarycliniciansand specialists RepresentAERCwithintheveterinarycommunityandreferral network Theposition includes leadership responsibilities spanning clinical quality, culture development, financial performance, and hospital administration while remaining actively engaged in patient care.
