Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will play a vital role in our clinical team by:

• Conducting individual and couples therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to foster emotional healing and family unity.

• Developing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each client and their family dynamics.
\n
• Facilitating family therapy sessions that address issues such as conflicts, communication barriers, and blended family adjustments.

• Providing psychoeducation to families around topics like grief, loss, and the effects of job stress or medical concerns on relationships.

• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop holistic treatment approaches, ensuring all aspects of a client’s well-being are considered.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with diverse adult clients and children/adolescents who may be experiencing:

• Challenges related to alcohol abuse and substance use.
\n
• Issues stemming from physical or psychological abuse.
\n
• Grief and loss, particularly during significant life transitions.
\n
• Disputes among family members, including siblings and parent-child dynamics.
\n
• Adjustment issues following separation or divorce and managing complex family structures such as blended families.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
