MRI Technologist (PRN)

This role involves performing diagnostic MRI procedures with independence and precision, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging results. Key Responsibilities Include Assisting with patient preparation, obtaining clinical history, and following proper procedures for contrast administration. Positioning patients, operating MRI equipment, and ensuring high-quality image capture. Responding to emergency situations and verifying patient identity and safety protocols. Maintaining equipment, ensuring safety standards, and troubleshooting technical issues. Communicating effectively with patients, explaining procedures, and addressing concerns using excellent customer service skills. Documenting procedures accurately, submitting images to PACS, and supporting departmental operations. Qualifications and skills: Certification as an MRI Technologist (ARMRIT or ARRT-MR) and BLS certification required. Minimum of one year clinical experience, preferably in MRI settings. Strong communication, patient care, and multitasking abilities. Knowledge of anatomy, pathology, MRI safety, and technical procedures. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
