PRN CT Technologist

CT Technologist applies their expertise to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience at Cobb Hospital . They are vital members of a collaborative care team, performing CT procedures according to department guidelines, operating imaging equipment independently, and ensuring diagnostic image quality while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA). Responsibilities include: obtaining clinical history, explaining procedures using AIDET, ensuring patient comfort and safety, administering contrast with sterile technique, positioning patients, reviewing images for diagnostic quality, documenting accurately, and managing equipment and supplies. Maintain infection control, monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and support department workflows. Collaborate with team members to support operational efficiency and compliance with regulatory standards. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, minimum 1 year radiology experience, and certifications in ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS.
