MRI Technologist (PRN)

This role involves providing safe, high-quality MRI imaging services with a focus on patient care, safety, and technical proficiency. Responsibilities include preparing patients, positioning them for procedures, operating MRI equipment, and ensuring image quality. Key duties encompass obtaining clinical histories, administering contrast media safely, reviewing images, responding to emergencies, and maintaining equipment and a clean environment. Ideal candidates possess at least 1 year of clinical experience, with certification as an MRI technologist (ARMRIT or ARRT-MR) and BLS certification. Essential skills include excellent communication, ability to work independently and under pressure, attention to detail, multitasking, and strong customer service. They must demonstrate knowledge of anatomy, pathology, MRI protocols, and safety procedures, while fostering teamwork and adhering to policies and standards.
