AVI Foodsystems is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Contract Foodservice Account Executive to lead business development efforts throughout the Virginia and Washington, D.C. market. As an Account Executive, you'll play a pivotal role in expanding our footprint, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth in one of the most exciting markets in the country. This position has a base salary with commission. What You'll Do Identify, prospect, and cultivate relationships with potential clients throughout the territory Drive aggressive business growth through strategic sales initiatives and consultative selling Develop a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity Continuously uncover and pursue new business opportunities across multiple industries Partner closely with operations leaders to create customized solutions and winning proposals Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects and business leads Represent AVI Foodsystems with professionalism, integrity, and passion Contribute to our mission, vision, and core values while helping shape the future of our organization What We're Looking For Minimum of 3 years of proven success in Business-to-Business sales and business development Experience in contract food service, vending, office coffee service, hospitality, facilities management, or related industries is preferred Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage a large territory Competitive, driven, and goal-oriented mindset with a passion for winning Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills Knowledge of the Virginia/Washington, D.C. market or willingness to relocate to the area Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered Why AVI Foodsystems?
