Overview Ultrasound Technologist needed for a travel assignment in Roswell, New Mexico. The role supports outpatient and obstetric imaging in a hospital setting. Start date: 08/31/2026. Duration: several weeks. Shift: Days, 5x8. Weekly pay: $1,703-$1,786. No guaranteed hours. First-time travel candidates accepted. NM license or compact license pending accepted, but licensure must be obtained prior to start. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,703-$1,786 per week Schedule: Days, 5x8 Start date: 08/31/2026 Duration: Several weeks Employment type: Travel - Temporary Assignment On-call: Two days per week; two weekends per month (on call) Responsibilities Perform obstetric ultrasounds across first through third trimesters; fetal anatomy survey; high-risk OB assessment; multiple pregnancy evaluation; nuchal translucency; umbilical cord Doppler as indicated Conduct general abdominal imaging (liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, kidneys, appendix) and document findings Execute pelvic/transvaginal exams; prostate imaging as appropriate within scope Image small parts (thyroid, breast, testicles/scrotum) and assist with related procedures Support interventional procedures as needed (paracentesis, thoracentesis, cyst aspiration) Document results and maintain accurate charts; collaborate with interpreting physicians and care teams May float to like units within scope to cover patient care needs Requirements National credential in ultrasound (ARDMS or ARRT) in hand Minimum 1 year ultrasound experience New Mexico state license or compact license pending accepted; license must be obtained prior to start Locals not accepted (50-mile radius) First-time travel candidates accepted Ability to perform OB, abdominal, pelvic, small parts, and interventional imaging in outpatient/ obstetric settings Benefits and Support Brief unit orientation provided onsite; orientation modules required and completed onsite during orientation Compliance steps and labs processed within 48 business hours after contract signature Dedicated account manager for travel assignments Credentialing assistance and onboarding support to facilitate licensure and compliance PAY DISCLAIMER Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
