About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Rapid Response Duration: 8 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: PALS, BLS, APHON (for oncology) Must-Have: Pediatric experience in a hospital Pediatric oncology experience Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Rapid Response team. Candidates will be required to work 12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:00. A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required. An active RN license is essential for this role. Candidates must possess certifications in PALS and BLS. For oncology care, APHON certification is also necessary. The ideal candidate will have prior pediatric hospital experience and experience in pediatric oncology. Staffing includes both pediatric and oncology care. Total number of beds includes pediatric and oncology beds combined. Patient ratios may vary from 1:3 to 1:5 depending on circumstances. Equipment used includes Alaris pumps and EMR system is Cerner. Organizational skills and attention to detail are important for success in this role. Weekends shifts are included in the schedule. No special scheduling requests will be accommodated. Tobacco product use is prohibited on the premises. Protective standards and policies must be followed at all times.
