About the Position

Job Title: Rapid Response Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Rapid Response Duration: 8 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License required Certifications: PALS, BLS, APHON (for oncology) Must-Have: Pediatric experience in a hospital. Pediatric Oncology experience. Description: RTO/special scheduling will not be accommodated. 48 hours guaranteed. Tobacco use is prohibited in all buildings and properties. Unit Information: Unit serves both pediatric and oncology patients. Total number of beds is 19, including 13 pediatric beds and 6 oncology beds. The staff consists of RNs, a charge RN, RTs, and PCTs, ensuring coverage at all times. Patient ratios are managed at 1:3, 1:4, and 1:5. Type of equipment includes Alaris pumps. The electronic medical record system used is Cerner. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and organized. Weekends include 6 shifts with 2 on Saturdays. Floating areas may include PICU and NICU. Dress code is all navy blue or white tops.
