• A current, valid RN license in the state of Washington
• Prior experience as a School Nurse or in a pediatric, community health, or acute care setting
• Strong assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
• Ability to respond quickly and calmly in urgent or emergency situations
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and school staff
• Attention to detail and organizational strengths for managing records, care plans, and medication administration

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing assessment, treatment, and first aid for illness and injuries occurring during school hours
• Administering medications and managing chronic conditions according to physician orders and care plans
• Promoting a healthy school environment through immunization compliance, infection control, and health education
• Communicating with families and serving as a health resource and advocate for students
• Collaborating with teachers and support staff to accommodate students with individualized health or emergency plans
• Maintaining accurate medical records and adhering to privacy regulations
