Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive intake assessments to understand clients' needs, histories, and appropriate interventions.

• Performing diagnostic evaluations and developing client case histories to inform effective treatment strategies.

• Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans, tailoring therapeutic interventions suited to clients’ unique situations.

• Delivering ongoing psychotherapy, focusing on evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Providing supportive counseling and therapeutic interventions to an assigned caseload, ensuring high-quality care throughout the therapeutic process.

• Monitoring and reviewing client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Documenting all client interactions and case activities accurately and maintaining thorough records, ensuring compliance with confidentiality standards.

Qualifications\n

To thrive in this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York.

• Strong proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly for mood disorder interventions.

Preferred Experience\n
