Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Intelicare, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a dedicated caseload of clients, establishing strong therapeutic relationships while adhering to ethical guidelines and professional boundaries.

• Conducting regular client meetings to monitor progress, discuss treatment efficacy, schedule appointments, and determine appropriate discharge plans when necessary.

• Developing, implementing, and continuously reviewing individualized, person-centered treatment plans, ensuring each plan aligns with the client's unique goals for growth.

• Maintaining thorough and up-to-date documentation, including detailed progress notes and treatment updates for every client.

• Carrying out comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate new clients' needs and expectations.
\n
• Delivering individual therapy sessions on a weekly basis, employing evidence-based practices tailored to the client population.

• Engaging in regular supervision sessions to promote clinical development and enhance therapeutic techniques.

• Collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure cohesive treatment strategies, supporting holistic client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves adolescents and young adults facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use issues. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must have:

• A Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• An active and valid LMHC license in New York.
\n
• The ability to satisfy internal credentialing requirements in relevant clinical settings.

• A minimum of one year of professional experience working with psychiatric patients and/or individuals in substance abuse recovery.

• Proficiency in assessment, diagnosis, and both individual and group therapy modalities.

• Basic computer skills, including knowledge of electronic health records systems.

Compensation and Benefits\n
