College Counselor
BelovED seeks to add a College Counselor to its team of student support professionals to help our high school students develop a college and/or career vision for their lives, together with a plan of how best to use their remaining time in high school to realize this personal vision.
Required Certifications / Qualifications
Candidates must hold a School Counselor CE, CEAS or Standard license from the New Jersey Department of Education.
In addition, we look for all staff members to possess:
- A powerful commitment to the mission and goals of their school;
- A commitment to preparing every student for college and to developing every student's values and character; and
- A belief in a structured and predictable environment for children and a commitment to education standards, statewide testing, and accountability.
