This role drives quality outcomes by leading and mentoring nursing staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining strong clinical standards on the unit. The RN Unit Manager is hands-on, proactive, and deeply committed to creating a safe, supportive environment for residents, families, and the care team.

RN Unit Manager Responsibilities:

• Provides clinical oversight for the assigned unit.

• Ensures timely incident reporting and regulatory compliance.

• Oversees resident care to support strong clinical outcomes.

• Communicates condition changes to physicians and families.

• Conducts daily rounds to monitor safety and care standards.

• Provides clinical support including medication administration when needed.

RN Unit Manager Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state.

• Supervisory experience strongly preferred.

• 2–3 years of long‑term care nursing required.

• Strong critical‑thinking skills and effective problem‑solving abilities.

• Ability to excel in a fast‑paced environment and manage competing priorities.
