Position Overview:

Provide administrative and clerical support to the Tax Department during the summer months. This is a part-time (around 30 hours) contract role ideal for someone with accounting support experience who is comfortable handling tax-related administrative functions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support to the Tax Department
  • Prepare and manage exemption certificates (required experience)
  • Assist with sales & use tax filings (required experience)
  • Process returns and maintain accurate records
  • Perform clerical accounting duties including data entry and document management
  • Support team with additional administrative tasks as needed

 

Qualifications

  • Prior experience with tax filings and exemption certificates (required)
  • Strong clerical and administrative skills
  • Basic accounting knowledge or experience in an accounting support role
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
