Overnight and weekend shifts
Two types of positions available

GPI Defense is hiring security officers for a client assignment in the Kirby area of Houston.

Officers will be responsible for maintaining a professional security presence, monitoring the assigned property, responding appropriately to security and safety concerns, and documenting incidents and observations accurately.

Available schedule

Overnight coverage

• Fourteen total hours of coverage
• Coverage divided between two officers
• Seven-hour shifts

Weekend coverage

• Saturday and Sunday
• Twelve-hour shifts (Day and Night)
• Twenty-four total weekend hours

Applicants should be available for overnight and weekend assignments and prepared to maintain consistent attendance for the schedule they accept.

Primary responsibilities

• Maintain a visible and professional security presence
• Monitor assigned areas for security and safety concerns
• Follow site post orders and GPI Defense procedures
• Respond appropriately to incidents within the officer’s training and authority
• Document incidents, observations, and actions accurately
• Communicate promptly with supervisors and appropriate personnel
• Remain alert, prepared, and professional throughout the assigned shift

Position expectations

Candidates should be dependable, attentive, and able to work independently during overnight hours. Reliable attendance and clear communication are essential for this assignment.

Applicants should indicate their availability for the seven-hour overnight shifts, the twelve-hour weekend shifts, or both when applying.
