As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, observe access points and alarm activity, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.26 / Hour Pre-Employment Requirements (Contractual) Security Experience - 6+ Months Job Schedule: Fri: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unsecured conditions, and potential security-related concerns. Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access-control issues or unauthorized entry attempts to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate relevant details according to site procedures. Maintain a professional presence while supporting a welcoming environment and helping to deter unauthorized activity through visible patrols and adherence to post orders. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 6 months of security-related experience. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
