As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a fast-paced tech and communications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to calls for assistance, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering strong customer service. What You’ll Do Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech-focused location. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes; note unusual activity and conditions and report findings. Monitor access points and lobby areas as assigned, help to verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and direct guests, vendors, and deliveries to the proper destinations. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, medical calls, and facility issues; request support from site contacts and/or public responders as needed. Complete reports and logs, document security-related incidents and patrol results, and communicate relevant updates during shift turnovers using approved reporting tools. Minimum Requirements Security Experience ‑ 6+ Months. X‑Ray Screening Experience – preferred. Customer Service Experience – preferred. Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet – preferred. State, County, or City Issued Security License – preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
