Workflow Coordinator

With over 3,800 employees and over 30 global manufacturing brands, AGI is a leading provider of equipment and technology solutions for agriculture commodities including seed, fertilizer, grain and feed systems and an expanding platform for food processing facilities.The OpportunityThe Workflow Coordinator will assist the Master Scheduler in coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to production schedule. Duties include assisting in the review and distribution of production schedules; conferring with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates; and compiling reports on progress of work, inventory levels, costs, and production problems.ResponsibilitiesPerform daily analysis and reporting of production status. Troubleshoot and report computer system issues that may affect production.Assist with physical inventory process; coordinating the closing of all work orders prior to count.Confer with department supervisors or other personnel to assess progress, find and resolve issues causing production flow difficulties.Revise production schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with management, marketing, sales, production, or engineering.Examine documents and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications. End/Close work orders to ensure accurate posted journals and costing.Provide on-call support for production environment.Compile information, such as production rates and progress, materials inventories, materials used, or customer information, so that status reports can be completed.Adjust set-ups on parts including routings, Safety Stocks, and EOQ’s.
