The Sales & Pricing Analyst is a great opportunity for someone looking to build expertise in pricing, forecasting, and commercial analytics across a growing beer, wine, and spirits supplier. This role focuses on understanding business performance and helping guide decisions related to pricing, sales execution, and market opportunities. You will analyze trends, identify risks and opportunities, and translate data into insights that support profitable growth across the organization. A key component of the role is ownership of our pricing platform (Price 2.0), which is central to how we manage pricing, margins, trade spend, and pricing execution across the business. Strong performers will have the opportunity to grow into more advanced analytics, pricing, or commercial roles over time. This is a Charleston, SC-based role, working in-office with the broader support team. Key responsibilities Own and manage the company's pricing platform (Price 2.0), ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and usability Support development and execution of pricing strategies across brands, markets, distributors, and channels Analyze pricing, margins, trade spend, and promotional activity to identify opportunities for profitable growth Evaluate the impact of pricing and promotional decisions on revenue and profitability Establish and maintain pricing guardrails including target shelf pricing, competitive positioning, margin expectations, and promotional strategy Analysis & Commercial Insights Support depletion forecasting and ongoing performance tracking Identify performance risks, opportunities, and trends across brands and markets Support distributor business reviews and annual planning discussions Analyze program performance, trade spend, and promotions to identify trends and opportunities Combine internal sales data with external market data (e.g., Circana) to provide context on performance and competitive positioning Collaborate with internal teams to improve commercial processes and business performance This role is ideal for someone who: Enjoys working with data and solving problems Is detail-oriented and interested in improving processes Thrives working across a variety of projects where no two days are the same Wants exposure to multiple areas of the business Requirements Experience: 2–5 years in pricing, sales analytics, business intelligence, commercial analytics, category management, finance, or a related analytical role. Beverage alcohol, CPG, retail, wholesale, or distributor experience preferred. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Mathematics, or related field. Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills required. Power BI proficiency preferred. Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources. Core Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
