HR Manager – ManufacturingWe are seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee human resources and workplace safety for a manufacturing organization. This hands-on role is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, payroll verification, benefits administration, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and safety.The ideal candidate is organized, self-directed, and comfortable working closely with employees and leadership in both office and manufacturing environments.Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee human resources and workplace safety for a manufacturing organization. This hands-on role is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, payroll verification, benefits administration, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and safety.The ideal candidate is organized, self-directed, and comfortable working closely with employees and leadership in both office and manufacturing environments.Key ResponsibilitiesManage full-cycle recruiting for production, skilled trade, and office positionsCoordinate onboarding, orientation, training, and employee recordsReview and verify employee hours and bi-weekly payroll for accuracyAdminister employee benefits, leaves of absence, and ACA reportingHandle employee relations, investigations, performance issues, and separationsMaintain HR policies, personnel records, I-9s, and compliance documentationLead workplace safety programs, OSHA recordkeeping, incident investigations, and workers' compensationCoordinate performance reviews and employee engagement initiativesImprove HR processes and manage relationships with outside HR, payroll, benefits, and recruiting partnersQualifications3+ years of human resources experience in a manufacturing environmentFull-cycle recruiting experience with hourly production and/or skilled trade positionsExperience with payroll verification and benefits administrationExperience supporting or leading workplace safety programsWorking knowledge of OSHA requirements and federal and Wisconsin employment lawsStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain confidentialityProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and OutlookValid driver's license with the ability to occasionally travel to other locations and job sitesEducation & Preferred ExperienceBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Management, or a related field preferredAn equivalent combination of education and human resources experience will be consideredSHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferredOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferredHRIS and applicant tracking system experience is a plusBenefitsHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid vacation, sick time, and holidaysLife and short-term disability insuranceABR Employment Services is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
