Job Description Job Title: Buyer Job Summary: Buyer is responsible for managing day-to-day procurement activities to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, components, and services. This role serves as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and suppliers, balancing cost, quality, and delivery performance to support production and operational needs. Responsibilities Order Direct and Indirect Material from Purchasing Log in a timely manner. Review suggested buys in MRP system and issue purchase orders. Manage the full PO lifecycle from placement through delivery and receipt. Monitor open orders and expedite shipments to meet production schedules. Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules. Support Supply Chain Manager with MRP data input and analysis. Qualifications 3 – 5 years’ purchasing or procurement experience. Microsoft Office/Outlook proficiency. Internet Safety Awareness when making on-line purchases. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with dynamic priorities. Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills. Experience working in MRP Systems. NetSuite experience a plus (not required). Experience with Bill of Materials a plus (not required).
