Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to support the day-to-day financial operations of the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end close activities. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to support the day-to-day financial operations of the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end close activities. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions Review, verify, and enter invoices accurately and timely Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and general ledger accounts Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation Monitor outstanding payments and follow up on customer collections Support payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements Generate financial reports and assist with management reporting Assist with audits and special projects as needed All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
