**This is a hybrid position with a schedule of 6am-2:30pm**

Purpose of Position:

Assists Accounts Payable Supervisor in calculating sales and use taxes on invoices, data entry, invoice posting, and check preparation for the company. Responds to inquiries from vendors and employees regarding invoices and tax issues.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Calculate sales and use taxes on invoices from suppliers/vendors.
• Willing to learn / knowledge of Colorado sales and use tax rules for construction.
• Competency in common office software including Microsoft Office products, PDF manipulation, scanning, etc.
• Assist with resolving vendor/supplier tax issues.
• Working knowledge of TTR software or equivalent.
• Data entry of vendor invoices and invoice posting.
• Daily review of AP Unapproved Invoice entry.
• Review invoice coding for accuracy, proper approvals, and reasonableness.
• Review matching of invoice details to purchase order and work with purchasing or project managers to resolve issues.
• Ability to understand the full cycle of AP at the company and willingness to perform any part of it.
• Process expense claims including utilizing 3 rd party expense management software.
• Review Accounts Payable e-mail account to ensure invoices are promptly routed for processing and vendor questions are answered in a timely manner
• Perform supplier statement reconciliations
• Maintain a positive working relationship with vendor’s/supplier’s accounting staff.
• Promptly return all phone calls in a polite and professional manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Prompt, punctual, and regular attendance during core business hours, in an office environment, currently located in the Central Park area of Denver, including a reliable means of transport to and from work. Ability to occasionally travel between corporate offices and jobsites within the Denver Metro Area, during work hours.
• All employees are accountable for safety and health and are empowered to stop work if an unsafe condition is present. Employees should immediately notify their supervisor so that the hazard may be corrected.

Minimum Physical Requirements:  

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and a variety of office equipment.
• Occasionally may need to reach, stoop, or kneel.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.

• Receives direct supervision.
• Performs administrative or technical responsibilities.
• Objectives based on established guidelines, processes and operating procedures.
• Coordinates own tasks with a specific range of responsibilities in accomplishing well defined outcomes.
• Work is generally structured or recurring.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Viewpoint Vista experience preferred but not required
• 2-5 years minimum experience
