Position Summary 

Under the supervision of the IT Manager, provide technical support to employees at the Corporate Office and remote locations by troubleshooting and resolving issues related to computers, software applications, and other technology systems. 

Essential Position Functions

1. Deploy workstations, servers, printers, scanners, encryption systems, and all host security systems. 
2. Core Function: Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user and network hardware, peripheral devices, printing/scanning devices, presentation equipment, and mobile devices. 
3. Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex hardware problems for a variety of end users and recommend and implement corrective solutions. 
4. Ensures computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems including ERP, file servers, email servers, conference systems, application servers and administrative systems. 
5. Receive and respond to incoming calls and/or e-mails regarding IT problems and utilizes corporate IT helpdesk ticketing system for issue resolution. 
6. Manage end user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations in accordance with best-practices. 
7. Works with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with desktop computing equipment and software. 
8. Support ERP initiatives by liaising with ERP team and Epicor Users on special projects 

Required Qualifications and Competencies 

1. 2 -4 years’ experience supporting Windows OS PCs. 

2. Experience troubleshooting hardware issues and replacing hardware on both desktop and laptop PCs. 

3. Experience installing software, patches, updates on Desktops, Laptops, Servers. 

4. Competent in assisting employees daily to support Helpdesk Tickets 

5. Experience troubleshooting basic network, software, printing problems. 

6. Knowledge of creating Image for current Corporate Platform. 

7. Customer Service Experience a must. 

Preferred Qualifications and Competencies

1. Windows Active Directory 

2. Microsoft Windows (latest versions) 

3. Microsoft Windows Server (latest versions) 

4. Microsoft Office 365 

5. Encryption and Endpoint Protection Software 

6. DNS, DHCP, basic understanding of Network protocols 

7. Diagnostics and repair of workstations to include Laptops/Desktops & Display Endpoints 

8. Ability to deploy and install PC images 

9. Printing Servers Supervisory Responsibilities
