Job Title: Anesthesiology Physician
Location: Salem, Virginia
Position Type: Full-Time | On-Site

Position Overview
We are seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiology Physicians to provide on-site anesthesia services.
The selected physicians will provide high-quality anesthesia care to eligible Veterans in accordance with VA healthcare standards, facility policies, and applicable credentialing and privileging requirements.

Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA).
Current, full, and unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state, territory, commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
Current BLS and ACLS certification, or accepted equivalent.
Current DEA registration/certificate.
Active NPI and applicable taxonomy information.
Demonstrated technical proficiency in anesthesiology services.
Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently.
Must meet VA credentialing and privileging requirements before beginning services.
Candidates must have a satisfactory professional history and unrestricted licensure.
Any gaps in education or employment history must be clearly explained in the resume.

Responsibilities
Provide on-site anesthesiology services to Veterans.
Deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered anesthesia care.
Follow VA facility medical staff bylaws, policies, rules, and regulations.
Maintain all required licenses, certifications, CME, and professional credentials.
Participate in credentialing, privileging, and ongoing competency requirements.
Maintain required documentation and provide credentialing materials as requested.
