Relationship Specialist

Job Summary:

The Client Relationship Specialist Intern supports client acquisition, relationship management, and sales activities alongside senior leadership. This internship offers a strong path to full-time employment by providing hands-on experience in market research, lead generation, and sales pipeline management.

Responsibilities:

Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.
Lead generation, outbound calling, and warm lead follow-up.
Present professional services value to clients and managed service providers (MSPs).
Build sales pipelines, forecasts, and proposals or RFP responses.
Track activity using CRM tools and report progress to the executive team.

Required Skills & Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Communication, or a related field.
0-2 years of sales or market research experience preferred.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Self-starter comfortable working in a team-based, entrepreneurial environment.
Willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

Social media savviness for outreach efforts.
Creative problem-solving mindset.
Familiarity with CRM tools.

Special Considerations:

Internship duration of 3-4 months with potential for full-time conversion.
Location-based work in Herndon, Virginia.
May require travel during internship period.

Scheduling:

Internship position with a monthly stipend.
Specific work schedule details to be determined based on internship requirements.
