The Client Relationship Specialist Intern supports client acquisition, relationship management, and sales activities alongside senior leadership. This internship offers a strong path to full-time employment by providing hands-on experience in market research, lead generation, and sales pipeline management.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.
- Lead generation, outbound calling, and warm lead follow-up.
- Present professional services value to clients and managed service providers (MSPs).
- Build sales pipelines, forecasts, and proposals or RFP responses.
- Track activity using CRM tools and report progress to the executive team.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Communication, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of sales or market research experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-starter comfortable working in a team-based, entrepreneurial environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Social media savviness for outreach efforts.
- Creative problem-solving mindset.
- Familiarity with CRM tools.
- Internship duration of 3-4 months with potential for full-time conversion.
- Location-based work in Herndon, Virginia.
- May require travel during internship period.
- Internship position with a monthly stipend.
- Specific work schedule details to be determined based on internship requirements.
