Guys Automotive Service & Sales is looking for a full time Automotive Technician. This Automotive Technician/Automotive Mechanic will perform comprehensive maintenance and repair services primarily on passenger cars and light trucks. Operating independently and within a small team, the technician will utilize manual tools alongside computer-based diagnostics to ensure vehicle safety, performance, and reliability, delivering quality service without travel requirements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct vehicle diagnostics using manual and computer-based tools
- Perform engine, brake system, and transmission repairs
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems
- Execute preventive maintenance and safety inspections
- Manage tools and replace parts as needed
- Provide excellent customer service and clear communication
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in automotive repair
- Proficiency in engine diagnostics and brake system repair
- Skilled in electrical system troubleshooting and transmission maintenance
- Experience using automotive tools efficiently
- Strong customer communication and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail
Salary/Hours
$25.00 - $40.00 per hour. Starting hourly rate will be based on experience
Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
Weekends and holidays closed
