Slot Operations - Slot Technician I - FT

Responsibilities Under the direction of the Slot Technical Supervisor, apply electrical theory and related knowledge to test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain slot machines and related gaming components and equipment. Perform all repairs and service requirements necessary for slot machines and related gaming equipment. Use the Project Worksheet to install, configure, diagnose, and perform final testing of all slot machines and associated equipment, following the manufacturer’s Operation and Service Guide and departmental policies and procedures. Remove and replace failed or replaceable units during installation and upgrades, in accordance with the manufacturer’s Operation and Service Guide and departmental policies and procedures. Install and test hardware upgrade kits using the Project Worksheet, following departmental policies and procedures. Conduct yourself in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida/departmental policies and procedures. Complete other duties as assigned. Qualifications Possess electro‑mechanical skills. Effectively use manufacturer documents to troubleshoot and repair components (schematics, principles of operations manuals, technical manuals). Demonstrate a constant commitment to excellence in all tasks and responsibilities. Hold a high school diploma or GED; technical training preferred. Must have a minimum of six months experience in maintenance of slot and video gaming machines, or have completed an accredited gaming technical school. Read and understand all Seminole Tribe of Florida policies and procedures. Communicate effectively with guests in English regarding position duties and responsibilities. Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Apply for, obtain, and remain eligible for the appropriate Seminole Tribal Gaming License. Work Environment Employee may be exposed to casino‑related environmental factors such as second‑hand smoke and excessive noise. Frequent standing, walking, use of hands and arms, lifting up to 50 pounds, and routine reach, stooping, bending, climbing steps, and sitting are required. Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
