Job Summary The HR Recruiting Coordinator aids in facilitating human resource processes across all business locations with a primary focus on recruiting for the firm. This role involves developing strong relationships with universities, coordinating on-campus activities, and assisting with entry-level recruitment efforts. The HR Coordinator supports the Firm’s goals and values through professional communication and the maintenance of positive working relationships. Essential Functions Represent Symphona on campuses to identify top talent from targeted universities and promote the firm positively. Develop strong relationships with faculty and students, collaborating with Symphona staff and partners to facilitate networking and branding at targeted schools. Coordinate on-campus activities such as career fairs, presentations, mock interviews, and resume workshops. Assist in filling entry-level associate, intern, and summer leadership roles across Assurance, Tax, and Advisory services. Collaborate with the HR Manager to plan and implement the firm’s annual Summer Leadership Program. Maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) efficiently. Develop a working list of students (pipeline) for consistent follow-up and relationship management. Travel throughout the region, particularly during peak recruiting seasons. Provide clerical support to the HR department. Oversee Continuing Professional Education (CPE) records. Maintain documentation for in-house CPE and stay informed about the firm's CPE requirements and state board regulations. Assist staff in applying for CPA licenses as requested. Handle employee requests and questions, providing excellent customer service. Assist with new-employee background checks. Schedule meetings and interviews as requested by HR Managers. Perform any other duties as assigned or required by immediate supervisors, COO, or Partner in Charge. Other Functions Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail. Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
