About the Role:

FT LEAD CARE PARTNER CNA/STNA 

The FT Lead Care Partner/STNA plays a pivotal role in delivering compassionate and high-quality care to residents within accommodation and food service settings, primarily focusing on long-term care environments. This position is responsible for leading and coordinating daily care activities, ensuring that each resident's physical, emotional, and social needs are met with dignity and respect. The Lead Care Partner/STNA acts as a liaison between residents, families, and healthcare teams to promote a supportive and safe living environment. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying care needs, managing care plans, and mentoring other care staff to uphold the highest standards of service. Ultimately, the position aims to enhance the quality of life for residents through attentive, personalized care and effective team leadership.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid State Nursing Assistant certification (STNA/CNA) a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a caregiving role within a healthcare or residential setting.
• Ability to pass background checks and meet health screening requirements.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a caregiving environment.
• Additional certifications related to elder care, dementia care, or first aid/CPR a plus 
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and care documentation software.
• Training in conflict resolution and team management.
• ability to work variety of hours

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct personal care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Lead and supervise a team of care partners and support staff to ensure consistent and effective delivery of care services.
• Monitor residents’ health status and report any changes or concerns to nursing staff or supervisors promptly.
• Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care activities, resident observations, and any incidents in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Promote a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents by adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive and respectful atmosphere.
• Participate in staff training and development initiatives to enhance team skills and knowledge.
• Train all new employees 
• Create a culture of teamwork and kindness
• On call rotation 1 week per month

The required skills enable the Lead Care Partner/STNA to provide hands-on, compassionate care while effectively communicating with residents, families, and healthcare teams. Leadership and supervisory skills are essential for coordinating care activities and mentoring junior staff to maintain high standards. Attention to detail and organizational skills are used daily to document care accurately and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Preferred skills such as familiarity with electronic health records and additional certifications enhance the ability to manage care plans efficiently and respond to complex resident needs. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills support the creation of a positive environment that respects resident dignity and promotes teamwork.
