Description: Candidate must be located 50+ miles from the facility. The unit has 36 beds and 32 staff members. Staff includes 1 Charge Nurse, 6 Nurses (RN/LPN mix), 3 Technicians, and 1 Secretary on the day shift. Night shift staffing includes 1 Charge Nurse, 6 Nurses (RN/LPN mix), and 3 Technicians. Patient ratios are 6 to 1. Typical equipment used includes an EKG Machine, DynaMaps, Bladder Scanner, Vein Finder, and Telemetry. The Electronic Medical Record system used is Meditech. Candidates should possess strong time management skills and critical thinking skills. Typical procedures performed on the unit include Heart Catheterizations. A positive attitude, friendliness, and helpfulness are ideal personality traits for candidates. Job will require every other weekend or 2 full weekends per month. This role requires floating to all Med Surg Tele floors. Scrub color is Ceil Blue.
