This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and strategic growth while fostering a strong, team-oriented culture. Job Details:

• Full-time, salaried leadership role overseeing laboratory services across two sites (Lebanon and Anson campuses)
• Provide 24/7 operational oversight ensuring efficiency, quality, and patient safety
• Ensure compliance with CLIA, Joint Commission, CAP, and regulatory standards
• Lead strategic planning, modernization initiatives, and technology integration
• Oversee laboratory operations including staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and performance metrics
• Manage end-to-end laboratory operations (pre-analytic through post-analytic workflows)
• Partner closely with medical staff, nursing, executive leadership, and ancillary departments
• Lead quality management systems (QMS) including QC, validations, proficiency testing, and performance indicators
• Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives and monitor KPIs such as turnaround times and service metrics
• Oversee LIS systems, instrumentation, vendor relationships, and capital equipment planning
• Ensure regulatory readiness, audits, inspections, and accreditation maintenance
• Lead change management initiatives and standardize processes across sites
• Foster a high-performance, inclusive culture focused on engagement, development, and retention
• Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing competency development of staff
• Serve as a key liaison between laboratory services and hospital leadership, committees, and external partners
• Ensure an exceptional patient and provider experience through reliable, timely diagnostic services

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field
• Meets CLIA-88 requirements as General Supervisor and Technical Consultant
• Minimum 4+ years of high-complexity laboratory testing experience
• Minimum 6+ years of leadership experience in a clinical laboratory setting
• At least 1 year of training/teaching experience in a lab environment
• MLS (ASCP) certification or equivalent (or eligibility with plan to obtain)
• Strong knowledge of regulatory standards, LIS systems, and laboratory operations
• Demonstrated leadership in operations, quality, finance, and team development
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
