Location: Pleasanton, CA Status: 6 – 12 month contract (eligible for extension) Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented CAD Engineer to support a high-priority initiative focused on improving and updating a large volume of existing engineering drawings. This role is not focused on new product design but on high-volume revision and improvement work based on manufacturing feedback. Responsibilities Review and update existing SolidWorks drawings based on manufacturing and production feedback Modify dimensions, tolerances, annotations, and BOMs Ensure consistency between 3D models and 2D drawings Execute high-volume drawing revisions efficiently Manage revisions using PDM (SolidWorks PDM / EPDM) Track Key Performance Indicators (KPI) Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer technology, or equivalent experience Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in CAD software Proficiency in SolidWorks (Drawing environment focused) Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications (preferred) Solid understanding of engineering principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes Experience updating existing engineering drawings Working knowledge of GD&T Experience with PDM systems (EPDM preferred) Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE) We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and welcome all applicants for employment without attention to any factor that doesn’t impact your ability to do the job, including race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status. Pay Transparency for California The expected hourly rate for this position in our California office is $27.50 - $30 per hour. Pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area.
