Infusion BMT RN Sr.- PRN Weekend- Dallas Medical City

Overview Texas Oncology is seeking an Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Dallas Medical City location. PRN (As Needed) weekend coverage – Saturday and Sunday 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. with occasional weekday shifts available. The role is level 1, 2, or senior based on experience. Responsibilities Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate, and promote continuity of care consistent with standards and practices. Assess patient/family needs and provide teaching and instructional material. Prepare and administer therapies under physician direction and supervision. Administer all medications/blood products using correct dosage, route, time, and technique. Ensure pre‑authorization and consent forms are obtained prior to therapy administration. Facilitate dose modification by assessing labs, consulting protocols or the treatment plan, calculation, and physician consultation. Perform venipuncture, access implanted ports, and maintain central line catheter devices. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatments. Apply knowledge of reimbursement procedures and charge capture. Qualifications Level I – Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. Current state RN license and active BLS certification. 0–3 years of nursing experience; oncology experience strongly preferred. Level II – Minimum 3 years of nursing experience; oncology experience strongly preferred. Level Senior – Minimum 5 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year in oncology; oncology certification preferred.
