POSITION SUMMARYThe HR Recruiter supports the company’s manufacturing operations by recruiting talent for positions ranging from entry-level to seasoned manufacturing and management roles while promoting the organization’s employer brand. This hybrid role manages full cycle recruiting for manufacturing positions and engages with the community to promote the company’s culture, workplace safety, innovation, and career growth opportunities while building a pipeline to support the company’s future growth.The ideal candidate is highly organized, people focused, and comfortable being on the production floor to understand jobs firsthand.ELEMENTS RELATED TO THE FUNCTIONPosition Type: Non-ExemptHybrid Location: Remote and In OfficeLocation: Demgy Pacific, LLC, Tacoma WAKEY RESPONSIBILITIESManufacturing Recruiting & Talent AcquisitionManage full‑cycle recruiting for managerial, production, skilled trades, engineering, logistics, and support rolesPartner closely with leadership and frontline supervisors to understand workforce needs, shift schedules, and skill requirementsBuild pipelines for hard‑to‑fill manufacturing roles such as machinists, programmers, and operational management positionsMonitor turnover trends (to adjust recruiting strategy) and maintain active applicant pipelines for high-turnover rolesSource candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, trade schools, military transition programs, apprenticeships, community partnerships, and manufacturing associationsConduct phone screens, cultural fit assessments, coordinate interviews, and assist hiring managers in selection decisionsSupport high‑volume hiring, seasonal ramp‑ups, and multiple shift staffing needsEnsure a positive and consistent candidate experience for all applicantsHR Support & CollaborationAssist with onboarding activities, including new hire orientation and first‑day communicationHelp coordinate plant tours, hiring events, job fairs, and community outreach programsCollaborate with HR and operations to support retention initiatives and internal communicationsSolicit feedback on the recruitment/onboarding experienceEnsure recruiting practices comply with company policies, labor laws, and safety guidelinesCheck in with new hires to ensure a smooth transition and confirm they are receiving scheduled trainingIdentify high-potential employees for future rolesConduct stay interviews and gather feedback used to improve hiring messagingParticipate in HR projects impacting hiring (branding, referral programs, internship/apprenticeship programs)KEY COMPETENCIESTalent Sourcing & NetworkingStrong communicationCollaboration & relationship-buildingOrganization & attention to detailProactive, self-motivated approachPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENTThe work environment and physical requirements described below represent those that are typically needed to perform the essential functions.
