Registered Nurse Supervisor

House Supervisor (RN) 7a-7p Full-Time Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital is located near beautiful Myrtle Beach, SC and treats adolescents, adults and senior adults in need of psychiatric services, chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, and rehabilitation. Lighthouse offers 24‑hour admissions, needs assessment, and referral services. Responsibilities Works directly with the Director of Nursing and Nurse Manager to ensure quality care for psychiatric patients, residents, family members and all customer groups. Exercises independent judgment supervising staff involved in providing nursing care and overseeing clinical areas during after‑hours. Works closely with all members of the treatment team and keeps physicians, Administrator‑On‑Call (AOC) and Director of Nursing (DON) informed of issues that arise. Controls FTEs and arranges staffing for nursing units in accordance with staffing grids, census and patient acuity. Supervises all nursing service staff, handles patient complaints, and ensures proper documentation. Works closely with admissions regarding patients being admitted after hours and those being discharged. Oversees all codes and ensures proper documentation.
