As a result, those who live here always feel valued, cared for, and part of a trusting relationship.A Day in the Life of a Maintenance Worker: As a Maintenance Worker, you play an essential role in ensuring that our residents feel at home in a well-functioning assisted living community. When you arrive for your shift, a variety of general maintenance issues await your attention. Your knowledge about plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and flooring serves you well as you address each problem. Using your keen judgment and time management skills, you prioritize the order of your to-dos.Sometimes, you spend your shift redoing a room. You patch walls, apply a fresh coat of paint, replace the carpet, and do whatever else you can to make the unit look new again. Occasionally, you are called in to take care of an urgent repair. You take your on-call responsibilities seriously because you care about the welfare of our residents. You know that their quality of life depends on their environment. Ensuring that they are comfortable in their time of need is something you are proud to do!Qualifications for a Maintenance Worker: High school diploma or equivalent, generalized knowledge about plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and flooring, driver's license. One or more years of experience in maintenance is preferred. Are you a problem solver? Do you have the drive to follow through? Are you punctual and reliable?
