Business Development Director (REMOTE) Defense Machined products

GNR has been retained by a well-established, high precision manufacturing organization seeking a BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR .

This 100-year-old, $100M+ organization is well known in the Energy, Oil, Power & Industrial sectors for their large, machined products, parts and assemblies. We’re seeking a hands-on, ambitious Business Development strategist to expand the company’s reach within DEFENSE sector - Space, Naval & Maritime, Vehicles, Power / Turbines products .

You’ll play a significant role in this $40M division’s growth, reporting directly to the VP/GM.

As the primary Defense products point of contact , you will manage and negotiate long term contracts & multi-year program awards, proposals, RFQ/RFP’s, ensure compliance and regulatory requirements.
Develop and execute strategic roadmap to build relationships and capture new Defense contracts & awards.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

Solid experience with Build-to-Print highly precision machined products for OEM’s, Primes & MRO for DEFENSE / Military & Maritime customers
Strategic mindset to identify new technologies, products and Defense / Military / primes, depots & repair customers and suppliers
BS / MS / MBA Degree in Business, Engineering or Technical field with strong business acumen.
US Citizenship – prior military service is a plus.
