Quality Assurance Engineer (Contractor) - Palo Alto

Job Title

Perform manual testing of new features and releases across the Plaud Teams, Pricing flow, and Growth projects

Write clear, reproducible bug reports and track resolution with engineering

Develop working knowledge of core user flows: recording, transcription, subscription management, workspace governance, and billing

Contribute to test plans and regression suites ahead of releases

Partner with PMs and engineers to define acceptance criteria before features ship

Validate bug fixes and conduct regression testing

Skills, Qualifications and Experience We Look For

3+ years of QA experience with a strong manual testing focus

Ability to write clear, detailed bug reports and test cases

Experience testing web and mobile (iOS/Android) applications

Experience testing SaaS or subscription-based products preferred

Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Linear, or similar issue trackers

Able to ramp up quickly and work independently with minimal onboarding

Compensation: $50/hr
