Industrial Mechanic – CA

Republic Bag Inc. of Corona, CA is accepting applications for an Industrial Mechanic.

The maintenance mechanic is responsible for completing routine maintenance, repairs, inspections, of equipment at Republic Bag. Safety is paramount. Electrical or other specialties are welcome.

Duties & Responsibilities Include:

• Maintains, repairs and rebuilds electrical and manual equipment (e.g., spindle, motor, belts, etc.)
• Performs installation and setup of production machinery.
• Per work orders checks and repairs a variety of equipment, including polyethylene extruders, balers, reclaimers, printing and bag machines, and other machinery and tools.
• Capability to provide input to the development of the technical specifications for equipment repairs and improvements.
• Inspects and performs preventive maintenance on specified items such as loading docks and material handling equipment.
• Operate and test equipment.
• Diagnose problem areas for any significant wear or tear.
• Learns, understand and complies with all safety and department guidelines.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

Must have previous experience in skilled industrial maintenance work of 1 to 3 years. Knowledge of methods, practices and techniques of industrial machinery maintenance. Knowledge of equipment, tools and materials used in industrial machine maintenance. Electrical or other specialties are welcome.

Shifts Available:

Monday -Friday 8am – 4pm Rotating Stand By for 1 week each month
