Logistics Sales Development Representative — RCS & ARIES

About the role

TSA is seeking an experienced Logistics Sales Development Representative to develop opportunities for two service partners: RCS (Recovery Control Systems) , focused on parcel auditing and shipping cost recovery, and ARIES Worldwide Logistics , focused on freight and supply chain services.

You will identify companies with meaningful shipping activity, learn how their shipping channels operate, connect with logistics decision-makers, and introduce qualified opportunities to the appropriate partner. The partners will lead solution design, proposals, and deal closing. You will remain involved in communication and follow-up.

There is no formal training program for this position. Applicants should already understand shipping industry sales and have current professional connections, relevant references, or both. This role is intended for someone who can independently develop conversations and opportunities from the start.

What you’ll do

• Research and prospect East Coast companies with substantial parcel, freight, or international shipping activity.
• Identify shipping locations, distribution centers, warehouses, plants, and the people responsible for logistics decisions.
• Conduct cold calls, LinkedIn outreach, email follow-ups, and referral-based prospecting.
• Learn about prospects’ shipping channels, costs, current providers, operational challenges, and purchasing process.
• Introduce RCS for potential parcel audit and cost recovery opportunities and ARIES for freight and supply chain needs.
• Schedule qualified conversations with the appropriate partner and transfer accurate contact information, discovery notes, and agreed next steps.
• Keep up with partner sales calls and customer follow-ups, help obtain requested information, and track each opportunity through its decision.
• Maintain accurate outreach, pipeline, and activity records in TSA’s tracking system.

What makes an opportunity qualified

A strong handoff identifies the company and relevant shipping locations; the appropriate contact and decision-maker; the shipping need; the prospect’s interest; and a specific next step. The partner confirms service fit, terms, pricing, and the final proposal.

What we’re looking for

• Existing connections or credible references within the shipping, freight, parcel, distribution, or supply chain industry.
• Experience in B2B prospecting, cold calling, and developing logistics-related sales opportunities.
• Confidence speaking with operations, logistics, supply chain, procurement, and finance decision-makers.
• The ability to work independently without a formal training program.
• Strong follow-through and comfort using phone, email, LinkedIn, Excel, and CRM tools.
• Sound judgment when handling customer information and coordinating with external partners.

Compensation and growth

• 5% commission on eligible revenue received by TSA from opportunities attributed to your work.
• $10,000 performance bonus upon exceeding $160,000 in eligible revenue received by TSA , subject to the written compensation agreement.
• Potential growth into sales closing, team leadership, or logistics account coordination as the channel develops.

Commission eligibility, attribution, payment timing, and bonus terms will be defined in the written agreement before work begins.
