Position Title: Business Development Representative
Location: Northeast Ohio - hybrid; within about one hour of Westlake, OH (roughly one day a week in the office)
Compensation: Base salary $75K + uncapped commission ($150K OTE)

For more than 20 years, Our Client has helped B2B organizations accelerate growth through strategic marketing, brand development, lead generation, and digital initiatives.


They are an entrepreneurial, growth-focused organization with ambitious plans to double the size of our business over the next three to five years. They invest heavily in marketing, lead generation, content creation, channel partnerships, and sales enablement to help the team succeed.


This is not a "dial-for-dollars" sales role. We are looking for a professional business developer who can build relationships, identify opportunities, and help manufacturing leaders solve complex growth challenges.
Key Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new manufacturing clients
• Build relationships with CEOs, Presidents, Owners, and C-suite leaders (reword- buyer personas are these so not building relationships really, able to quickly build rapport and confidence to solve prospect problems)
• Generate opportunities through networking, referrals, channel partners, and outbound outreach
• Conduct consultative discovery conversations and position tailored solutions
• Manage pipeline, forecasting, and activity within HubSpot CRM

Qualifications (Must-Haves)

• 3+ years of business development or consultative sales experience
• Proven success generating net-new business
• Experience selling professional services, consulting, marketing, or other solution-based services
• Strong executive presence and ability to engage senior decision-makers
• Hunter mentality with exceptional relationship-building skills
• Self-starter who thrives with autonomy and accountability
• HubSpot or CRM experience preferred
• Manufacturing or industrial market experience is a plus
