Salary: $225,000–$310,000

A leading Am Law firm is seeking a talented Private Wealth Services Associate Attorney with 1–4 years of law firm experience to join its nationally recognized Private Wealth Services practice. This is an opportunity to work on sophisticated matters for high-net-worth individuals, families, closely held businesses, and charitable organizations while receiving hands-on mentorship and meaningful client exposure.

The practice advises clients across the full spectrum of private wealth matters, including:

• Estate planning

• Trust and estate administration

• Business succession planning

• Fiduciary matters

• Tax-related planning and issues

• Charitable organizations, including public charities, private foundations, and charitable trusts

• Complex estate, trust, and business planning matters

The Associate Attorney will gain substantive experience across complex tax, estate planning, trust administration, and business planning matters, with opportunities for direct client interaction from an early stage. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced practitioners in a collegial and collaborative environment focused on professional development and high-quality client service.

• 1–4 years of law firm experience in sophisticated estate planning, trust and estate administration, and tax matters

• Excellent academic credentials

• Strong law firm experience

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong analytical and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with attorneys and clients

• Virginia Bar admission required

• Willingness to leverage innovative technology platforms, including AI tools, to enhance legal research, drafting, and analytical work
