Position Summary The Business Analyst (BA) will report to the IT Application Manager and is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining analytical solutions using SAP Business Objects (BOBJ) and SAP BW/4HANA to support data-driven decision making. The BA gathers business requirements, translates them into technical specifications, and delivers dashboards and reports. The BA collaborates with business stakeholders, the IT team, and data owners to ensure accuracy and consistency while driving continuous improvement in analytics processes and capabilities. The BA will provide customer service, support issues, and ticket requests within SAP in one or more of the following functional areas: Contracts & BD Program Management Operations (backup for primary analyst) Depot Finance Core Business Processes The BA should be an expert in one or more of the following business processes: Order to cash process (SAP SD Module: contract, delivery, billing) Production planning process (SAP PP module) Depot process (SAP MRO process) Finance and Controlling processes (SAP FI/CO) Essential Duties and Responsibilities Identify areas for SAP improvement based on business requirements to increase process efficiencies. Interact with all levels of the organization to ensure SAP meets the needs of the business. Meet regularly with internal customers to document issues and new requirements and respond to customer needs. Skills and Requirements BA/BS degree in a related field. 8+ years of professional experience or current pursuit of a BA/BS degree will be considered. Solid knowledge of business processes within the current area of responsibility (preferably SD, PP, FI/CO modules or MRO process). Minimum of 8+ years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment. Proven effectiveness in business process documentation, process improvements, and problem solving. Excellent written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrates Marvin values and is a self-starter with good judgment. Attention to detail and strong customer service focus. Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle and project management skills. Familiarity with Lean principles and their application in a manufacturing environment. Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and read/write/speak English. Work Environment Medium-to-large office environment Fast-paced office environment Moderate noise level; exposure to a combination of normal office environments Salary Range Base Salary Range: $105,000 - $110,000 (Inglewood only).
