What You Will Enjoy Doing

You will be required to operate and monitor acetylene generation and processing equipment and perform acetylene cylinder filling assignments including inspections, calculations, labeling, handling, and maintenance. Execute daily work assignments ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. Conduct troubleshooting, minor maintenance, and routine inspection of equipment. Operate and maintain process machinery and equipment. You will need to perform pre-fill and post-fill cylinder inspections to ensure safe transport and use. It will be critical to regularly inspect and maintain filling equipment and monitoring devices and accurately complete and maintain cylinder filling records.

What Makes You Great

This role requires a High School Degree or GED and minimum 1-year experience in an industrial setting. You must complete company-administered instruction and pass exams in both written and practical demonstrations. You will demonstrate ability to understand, follow procedures, and complete tasks on time. Forklift training and experience are preferred. You are capable of lifting 10-20 pounds regularly and occasionally lifting 50-100 pounds. Ability to move containers and pallets weighing up to 2000 pounds using material handling equipment is required. Safety is a top priority in all Driver/Operations. You must perform basic math functions and read/comprehend relevant documents.
