Service Manager

Service Manager As a Service Manager , you are responsible for the following tasks: Plan, direct, and coordinate a team of engineers to carry out engineering activities. Coordinate and direct engineering projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities. Liaise with management, production, and marketing staff to discuss engineering specifications and procedures. Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of engineering requirements and manage the workflow of the engineering department and subcontractors. Develop and implement policies, standards and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed in the department. Manage own team effectively, including recruitment, management of performance and reward issues and planning for succession. Expectations: The candidate must meet the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or project management, or 3+ years of relevant experience. Strong problem‑solving skills and resource planning skills. Ability to manage multiple customer concerns and set priorities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams. This position requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel up to 20%. Responsiveness to after‑hours customer inquiries is also required.
