This highly regarded AmLaw firm is looking for an experienced Legal Support Specialist to join its San Diego office and support a busy team of attorneys. What You'll Do

This is a hands-on, high-level legal support role with plenty of variety. You'll:

• Draft, edit, proofread and process correspondence, pleadings, memoranda, closing documents and other documents.
• Handle California state and federal court filings and e-filings
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts and other outside contacts.
• Participate in team strategy meetings.
• Handle attorney time entry, travel arrangements, invoices and expenses.
• Pitch in on special projects and overflow work.

What Our Client Is Looking For

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of legal support experience , preferably within an AmLaw 50 environment, along with experience supporting a busy litigation practice.

• California court experience and e-filing are mandatory. Experience with general litigation, probate litigation and/or Prop 65 matters is particularly valuable.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Tech Comfortable? Even Better.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills are important, including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint, along with experience using document management systems and legal office technology.
• Our client is also embracing responsible use of AI. Familiarity with — or an interest in learning — tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT and other firm-approved AI platforms is welcomed.
