CURRENT EMPLOYEES Please log into Workday Click Here to apply internally through the “Jobs Hub” Job Description The Medical Assistant (MA) will support and facilitate clinic operations by performing clinical, clerical, and technical duties, including patient rooming, documentation during visits, assisting with minor procedures, managing supplies, supporting Telehealth services when applicable, and flexing to administrative support when needed. This role requires strong communication skills, clinical competence, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to ensure an optimal care experience for patients and families. Shriners Portland is looking for a PRN, Medical Assistant to join the team! Key Responsibilities: Performs all aspects of direct patient care according to current Outpatient Clinic “Standards of Care.” Documents interventions per policyand lists plan consistently Obtains patient history and vital signs Prepares and maintains exam and treatment areas Obtains and graphs patient’s weight, height, arm span, and head circumference according to Outpatient Clinic “GrowthChart Graphing (Plotting)” Lab work completed the same day ordered Assists with monitoring supplies and equipment with PCA/cast tech. Maintains equipment and notifies supervisor/manager when new equipment is needed Applying non-corrective casts at physician’s direction Safely removing casts, cleans patient, covers affected limb and instructs family on skin care Required Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED Certified Medical Assistant Basic Life Support (BLS) Preferred Qualifications: Associate Degree RMA, CCMA, NCMA 1 year Pediatric/Ambulatory Care EMR Systems Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity. #J-18808-Ljbffr
